Warranty Period

The product comes with a lifetime warranty, which is valid for as long as the original end-use purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift owns the product and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee. The term “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product itself.

Registration

To activate the warranty, you must register the product within 60 days of delivery of the product to you. The registration process can be completed here on Step Analysis LLC’s website.

Coverage

The warranty covers against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased directly from Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates. This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear and tear, abuse, accident or external causes. Unauthorized repair, modification or customization of your product voids this warranty.

Repair or Replacement

In the case of a covered warranty defect, Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates reserve the right at its option to: (a) repair the product using new or refurbished parts; (b) replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished product; (c) replace it with a similar product of equal or greater value if the product is no longer available.

Replacement Product Warranty

The replacement product will be governed by a separate warranty specific to that product, and this lifetime warranty shall not extend or carry over to the replacement product.

Warranty Service

Prior to providing warranty service, Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates may require you to provide proof of purchase details, including but not limited to a receipt or sales invoice.

Shipping

You are responsible for shipping the product to Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates for repair or replacement. Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, or other external factors beyond the control of Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates.

Limitation of Liability

Step Analysis LLC and its affiliates disclaims all other warranties whether express or implied (including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for particular purpose, title, and non-infringement). Step Analysis LLC or its affliates’ liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. Step Analysis LLC or its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product. Please refer to the instructions manual provided with thee product and the product’s terms of use for further details.

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, excluding that body of law pertaining to conflict of laws.  Any legal action or proceeding arising under this warranty will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Maryland and you hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
